Sharon Jeniye Cohen, a Sansei born in Santa Monica, was educated at Chouinard Art Institute (now Cal Arts).  After maintaining a ceramic studio she entered the field of interior architecture, eventually working at Sony Pictures (Senior Designer) and Disney Imagineering (Lead Designer). She  has taught at FIDM (Fashion Institute of  Design and Merchandising) in Commercial Interiors, AutoCAD, Surface Design, Knitwear. Her art work is now focused on space and the perception of space and her material is paper.
